Alutech occupies a position that is difficult to confuse with any other. It is neither a European premium brand with a half-century history nor a small regional manufacturer. The Belarusian holding, which started in 1996 with six people and imported components, built a full production cycle over three decades, becoming the leader in roller shutter systems in Eastern Europe and the leading manufacturer of aluminum profile systems in the CIS.
Alutech’s product range today includes windows, doors, facades, sliding systems, fire-rated structures, sectional doors, roller shutters, and automation for them. Products are supplied to 50+ countries: the CIS, Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, Australia.
Company Origins
Alutech was founded in 1996 in Minsk. In the first year, six employees produced and installed roller shutter systems — using imported materials, without their own manufacturing.
In 1998, the first production facility of the holding opened in the «Minsk» special economic zone: here they began producing painted aluminum and steel strip, roll-formed profiles, and components for roller shutter systems. The coating quality underwent independent testing by one of Europe’s largest chemical concerns and received confirmation at the level of Western standards — an important signal to the market for the then-young Belarusian company.
A pivotal step came in 2004: the opening of a plant for the production of extruded aluminum profiles with its own powder coating and anodizing lines — the first in Belarus. This completely changed the company’s position: from a processor of third-party materials, it became a manufacturer with its own metal. In 2005, a high-pressure aluminum casting plant with automated polymer coating lines was added.
In 2008, one of the largest anodizing complexes for aluminum profiles in the entire CIS was commissioned. That same year, subsidiaries opened in Moscow and Kazan, and a representative office in Irkutsk. By 2014, a new door systems plant covering more than nine hectares was launched, designed to produce up to 240,000 sectional doors per year — the largest production facility in the holding’s lineup.
Today, Alutech unites five production enterprises and more than twenty sales companies in Belarus, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and CIS countries, as well as a partner network covering more than 50 countries.
Manufacturing
Alutech’s production model is built on a full in-house cycle within the holding. The company makes its own profile, coats and anodizes it, and produces its own hardware and accessories — from roller shutter mechanisms to door automation. This approach eliminates dependence on external suppliers at every stage and provides control over quality from raw material procurement to finished product packaging.
Only primary aluminum is used for profile production. For coating — polyester powder paints. The anodizing plant — one of the largest in the CIS — ensures a uniform, durable finish that requires no special maintenance for decades. All equipment at the holding’s facilities comes from leading European manufacturers, and the production lines are fully automated.
The quality management and environmental management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 by TÜV International Certification — one of the few manufacturers in the CIS with both certificates from an independent European body. Products have also been tested in accredited laboratories in Belarus, Russia, and the European Union.
The company provides partners with technical documentation, calculation software, training materials, and support at all project stages.
Market Position
Alutech occupies a position that, in the post-Soviet space, can be called optimal in terms of price-to-performance ratio: European-level production base with Belarusian pricing. This makes Alutech systems accessible where Western European brands exceed budget limits — and at the same time, they are reasonably competitive in technical performance.
In Europe, Alutech has firmly established itself in the segment of door and roller shutter systems: the holding is a recognized leader in this market in Eastern Europe, and sales companies in Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic allow direct work with European customers.
Window Systems
Alutech’s window lineup is divided into two main classes: non-thermal systems for unheated spaces and thermally broken systems for residential, office, and commercial buildings. Within each class, there are several systems with different installation depths and feature sets.
ALT C43 and ALT C48 — non-thermal systems
Non-thermal systems for unheated spaces: balconies, loggias, shopping malls, stations, and warehouses. ALT C43 is a basic frame system, ALT C48 is wider, with a rich choice of opening types: casement, tilt-turn, side-hung. Both include condensation drainage and ventilation. Doors can be made with or without thresholds.
ALT W62 — mid-level thermal system
A thermally broken frame system for windows and doors of wide application: residential and administrative buildings, offices, industrial premises. A polyamide-glass fiber insert breaks the thermal bridge between the external and internal profiles. A reliable basic solution without excessive options — where the main priorities are reliability and predictability in operation.
ALT W72 — the flagship of the window lineup
This is Alutech’s main window system — the one referenced when selecting for projects with genuine thermal and acoustic requirements. The system is designed for windows, doors, entrance groups, and display windows in energy-efficient buildings.
Key features. The edge zone of the IGU is additionally insulated with a thermal insert — a rarity for systems in this price class: most manufacturers limit themselves to the thermal break in the profile, ignoring the glass-to-profile boundary, which is a typical weak point in window thermal engineering. In the ALT W72 Termo version, additional insulating inserts can be installed inside the profile — for regions with extreme cold. Three closed EPDM sealing circuits ensure high air and water permeability performance. Sound insulation up to 43 dB. The profile can be painted on the outside and inside in different RAL colors.
The system is compatible with hardware from leading European manufacturers, including concealed hinges. Available in versions with various opening types: casement, tilt-turn, side-hung across the entire opening width, as well as with a concealed sash — from the outside, the window appears as a monolithic glazed surface.
ALT W77 W — system for northern regions
A new addition to the lineup, developed for increased thermal insulation requirements in harsh climates. The base consists of two aluminum elements joined by thermal breaks 39 mm wide made of glass-fiber reinforced polyamide (European production). Such thermal break width is fundamentally higher than in standard systems, directly affecting the heat transfer coefficient of the finished window. The system is designed for regions with prolonged freezing winters.
ALT W72 AW — aluminum outside, wood inside
A combined system where the outside is a robust thermally broken W72 aluminum profile, and the inside is solid natural wood. It combines the weather resistance of metal with the warm texture of wood in the interior. Used in premium residential construction, where interior aesthetics matter as much as technical performance.
Thus, the ALT W lineup covers the entire range — from basic office projects to homes in northern regions and premium residences with wooden interiors.
Sliding Systems
ALT SL160 — core lift-and-slide system
ALT SL160 is a thermally broken lift-and-slide system for access to terraces and patios. Available in two- and three-track versions: on two tracks — standard configuration; on three tracks — the ability to move all panels to one side and fully open the opening. The integrated thermal break provides sufficient thermal insulation for heated spaces. A threshold-free installation option allows unobstructed transition between the interior and the terrace.
ALT GS106 — thermally insulated lift-and-slide construction
ALT BF73 — folding panoramic system
ALT 100 — glazing for balconies and loggias
A comprehensive system for balcony glazing: combines a frame construction with practical solutions for the limited space of a loggia. Supports various opening types, considering the shallow depth of balcony openings.
Alutech’s sliding lineup covers all formats — from balcony glazing to large terrace portals — with a unified technical approach and the ability to combine systems on a single project.
Facade Systems
ALT F50 — a mullion-transom curtain wall system covering the main range of commercial facade glazing. Visible profile width is 50 mm — standard for this class. Accepts IGUs of various thicknesses, supports integration of tilt-turn and top-hung opening elements.
For special applications, a fire-rated version ALT F50 FR is available — allows facade glazing with certified fire resistance without switching to a different system. The ALT F50 TX modification expands configurations for non-standard architectural challenges.
ALT IGF65 — a curtain wall system with thermal break for facades with increased thermal insulation requirements. The expanded 65 mm profile accepts thicker IGUs compared to ALT F50.
ALT VC65 — a non-thermal curtain wall system for projects where thermal performance is not a priority: entrance groups of shopping centers, vestibules, covered walkways, indoor atriums.
ALT EF65 — a unitized system: panels are assembled at the factory and delivered to the site as ready-made elements. This reduces on-site installation time and shifts a significant portion of work to factory conditions with better quality control. Used on large commercial projects where facade closure speed is a priority.
ALT 150 — a ventilated curtain wall system with an air gap. Available in two infill versions: ALT 150 CM — for composite materials, ALT 150 KGNC — for large-format ceramic and natural stone slabs. The aluminum substructure takes the load from the cladding and transfers it to the building’s load-bearing structure, providing a ventilation gap for moisture removal.
ALT SKL50 — a system for translucent roofs, domes, and skylights. Addresses glazing challenges over spaces requiring overhead natural lighting.
Alutech’s facade lineup covers all major glazing types — from non-thermal curtain walls to unitized facades and ventilated constructions, allowing the realization of facades of any complexity within a single brand.
Fire-Rated Systems
Continuing the facade system logic, Alutech offers a full standalone line of fire-rated constructions — not a couple of additional profiles, but a comprehensive solution for windows, doors, and facades.
ALT W72 FR — fire-rated windows and doors based on the W72 profile with fire-resistant glass and thermally activated seals. Visually nearly indistinguishable from standard constructions of the same series.
ALT F50 FR — mullion-transom fire-rated facade. Allows implementation of fire-rated facade constructions in the same visual logic as the standard ALT F50: a unified architectural concept for the project without forced switching to another system in fire protection zones.
ALT FR76 — a thermally broken frame system for fire-rated constructions. Expands the application of fire-rated solutions to openings where thermal insulation is needed alongside fire protection.
Thus, Alutech offers comprehensive fire-rated solutions for both windows and facades, without requiring a switch to other manufacturers’ systems.
Additional Products
SP50 — solar shading louver system. Horizontal or vertical aluminum louvers on brackets, integrable with facade systems. Reduce heat load on the building in summer: louvers intercept direct solar radiation before it reaches the IGU, without blocking daylight or the view from the window.
ALT VR26 — ventilation grilles. Integrated into facade and window systems to provide supply ventilation without compromising the airtightness of the installation joint. Particularly in demand in buildings with mechanical ventilation, where regulated air exchange through the envelope is required.
Office and interior partitions. The ALT 110 (office), ALT 111 (interior), ALT 115 (all-glass), ALT 118 (light) lineup — aluminum systems for internal zoning. Cover the entire range from simple separating partitions to representative glass walls with no visible profiles between panels.
Sectional doors and roller shutters. This is the historic core of Alutech’s business. The range includes garage and industrial sectional doors, roller shutter systems for windows and doors, and automatic barrier gates. The door plant’s capacity is up to 240,000 sectional doors per year. For door and shutter control, the company offers its own automation with remote control.
This set of additional solutions allows the customer to obtain all necessary components for a project from a single supplier — without switching between multiple brands.
Sustainability
Alutech’s environmental policy is built on a combination of modern production technologies and efficient resource use. The holding’s facilities have implemented an environmental management system certified to ISO 14001:2015 — continuous monitoring of production impact on the environment, waste reduction, rational energy and water consumption.
Only primary aluminum is used for profiles — this ensures stable mechanical characteristics and a long service life for structures. Aluminum is inherently convenient from an environmental standpoint: it can be remelted without loss of properties, reducing the overall environmental footprint of the building throughout its life cycle.
The powder coating and anodizing lines operate without the solvents typical of traditional liquid paints. The high resistance of the coating to UV and aggressive environments further extends product life and reduces maintenance requirements.
Testing Laboratories
Before new systems are launched into serial production, Alutech products undergo a comprehensive set of tests confirming compliance with international and national building standards. Testing is carried out both in the company’s own test facilities and in independent accredited laboratories in Belarus, Russia, and the European Union.
The tests evaluate air and water permeability, wind load resistance, joint strength, hardware durability, thermal resistance, sound insulation, and structural durability under repeated opening cycles. Coatings are also separately tested — for resistance to UV, corrosion, and temperature extremes.
For fire-rated systems, fire tests are conducted with verification of declared fire resistance classes. Such comprehensive control ensures stable product performance regardless of the operating region.
The Practical Choice
Alutech is an excellent choice when affordability, short delivery times, and a favorable performance-to-price ratio are key.
The cost of Alutech aluminum systems is noticeably lower than most premium manufacturers from Germany or Belgium — and this is primarily due to the production model, not simplification of the systems themselves.
The main factor here is the full in-house production cycle. Alutech performs its own extrusion, powder coating, anodizing, and manufacturing of hardware, roller shutter systems, doors, and automation. There is no dependence on numerous subcontractors, no margins from them in the cost, no extra logistics links between stages.
The broad range of applications — from door systems to facade glazing and fire-rated constructions — makes Alutech an attractive partner for comprehensive supply on large construction sites.
